Volume: A Stealth-Action Game for PlayStation 4
Volume, an indie stealth-action game developed by Mike Bithell Games, is set in the same timeline as the popular game Thomas Was Alone. The game follows the story of a thief named Robert who steals a device called Volume that allows for the simulation of heists. He decides to stream the heists on the internet and the game is a modern take on the tale of Robin Hood.
The gameplay of Volume is heavily inspired by the Metal Gear Solid game series, with a top-down third-person view angle. The game consists of 100 levels, and the objective of each level is to unlock an exit point by collecting all the scattered gems and exiting without being spotted by the guards. The game offers high replayability as players' performance is evaluated and tracked on global leaderboards. Additionally, players have access to a vast arsenal of gadgets that can be used to distract the guards.
